Cause
For almost 30 years, St James has served as a gathering place for community, offering affordable rental rates for space. Our mission is to serve as a hub of community engagement where participants take part in vibrant and diverse cultural, social, educational, and recreational programs.
Facilities include the historic Mel Lehan Hall with its oak sprung dance floor, a Gym, Daycare, Pre-school, and a variety of multi-purpose rooms. We house the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra, Kits Showboat, and many other cultural organizations. We offer lessons, workshops, and all manner of events, in beautiful interior and outdoor spaces. In partnership with the Rogue Folk Club and other music organizations, we offer a variety of performances, with artists coming from all over the world.
